This Good Friday...

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son." -John 3:16

This Good Friday, we will be reminiscing the death of our Lord who died for us. He suffered, accepted the cross, and died to save us from our sins. He died to give us life.

This Good Friday, let our day not pass without praying and saying thank you for His gift of life and unconditional love. By acknowledging what He did for us, we can at least understand the meaning of our lives.

This Good Friday, may forgiveness be in our hearts. Let us forget about the hatred, anger and let peace and love be in us.

This Good Friday, we may opt to celebrate the holiday with our family but let us at least spare some time to stop what we are doing to pray and reflect.

This Good Friday, 3:00 p.m., let us remember how God gave His son and let Him died to save us which is the true meaning of Lenten Season.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all Mothers around the World!

I was about to post a simple greetings for mothers when I saw this poem while browsing the net. It defines what a mother's love really is and I love every word about it. It's from an anonymous and entitled THE LOVE OF A MOTHER.

A Mother's love is something
that no on can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain

It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away

It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking

It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems

It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation

A many splendor miracle
man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God's tender guiding hand.

A mother's love is unconditional. Mothers are God's gift of God to all of us so we should give importance to them not just on Mother's Day but everyday. Let us make them feel that we love them every time we can.

I am very thankful that God gave me the best mom in the whole world and I know that each of us feel the same way for our mothers. With all these, to all mothers around the world, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! I know that you have the hardest job in the world but you still manage to smile and make us feel that things can be done easily.

May it be mama, mommy, mom, nanay, nay, inay, ina, or however you call your mom, greet her, thank her, and make her feel important. Again,
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MOMS OUT THERE!

Happy Mother's Day, MAMA! Thank you very much! :)

she doesn't look like she's 45

JUNE 15, 2010

it' s my mom's birthday. i have work but i must do something to make her feel special so i bought balloons and cake for her.

mama's already 45 but she doesn't look like one. most people would even say that she's more beautiful than me and that's fine. at least, i am younger. haha! :D

thank you Lord for the good health of my mom!

to give her thanks, i made this one (you can also check this on my facebook account):

this person is the one who's always there whenever i need someone to be with.

this person understands my moods, even my mood swings.

this person knows my dearest and deepest desires.

this person loves me when i'm up and loves me more when i'm down.

this person is my source of patience, love and strength.

this person always brings out the best in me.

this person, though sometimes being taken for granted by me,continues to provide my needs.

and this person loves me unconditionally.

*to this person whom I really love, my mom, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

i know that what I've done is still not enough compared to what you've done for me and for my brother. thank you for everything! I promise to continue making you proud.

I LOVE YOU MAMA! HAPPY 45th BIRTHDAY! :)
