HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all Fathers around the World

Fathers are commonly silent unlike our mothers who expresses things through words. They are man in actions, not in words. But not because they speak less means they love us less. They only give balance to our home and watches everything so that if something wrong happens, they'll be in control.

It's never been a secret that I don't grew up with my father. Life sometimes is hard without a father who will guide you but I never took it negatively. Still, until now, I believe that there is a reason why all those happened. I never pity those people who are living with a father and a mother on their side. Instead, I feel so blessed that I have my mom who made us feel complete even without a father figure on our family and  my dad who made us feel loved even if he's not with us.

My Papa, though living far from us never failed to make us feel important each time he will be given chance. I love how he always knows what we need and want. I love how he makes an effort to show us that he loves us so much.

In return, without much ado, I want the whole world to know how much I love my Papa. Also, to all Father, Dad, Daddy, Dada, Tatay, Papa, Itay, Ama or whatever you call your father, let us greet them and make them feel special and important. This day may be the best way to show it to them but let us be reminded that Father's Day, just like Mother's Day, should be everyday.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THE FATHER AROUND THE WORLD! :)

To my Papa who knows the exact size of my blouse or pants though he's not living with us, who makes himay shrimps for her spoiled daughter, who cooks alimango because I am craving for it, and who makes us feel loved everytime, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! We love you so much! :)

Let's give it back

"I want to be a doctor so that I can help my parents when they are sick."
"I want to be a pilot so that I can tour my mother and father around the world."
"I want to be a teacher because I want to teach my siblings to help my mother."

These were our words during our chilhood. I remember saying that I want to be a teacher so that I will be the one to teach my brother on his studies so that I can help my parents.

Today, I may not be a teacher like what I want to be but the deeper thought of helping my parents is what I am trying to fulfill. It was my conversation with my friends last night that made me realize more how I must give back to my parents.

I am now done with my studies. I am currently working and earning. And this is all because of my parents who brought me up well, especially to my mom who worked hard for me to finish my studies. I am one lucky child because of my parents and this is why I have to prove to them that they are also lucky because of me.

I owe everything to them; my life down to what I have accomplished. Now that I have all the chance to help them, I promise to myself that I will do the best that I can to give back what they have given to me.

One day, I will have my own family. I know that my mom will love to see me doing what she did for me and my brother. But before having my own family, I will spend the rest of the coming years with them and do the responsibilities of being a daughter. I may not be a perfect one, may commit some flaws at time, but I will do my best to fulfill this promise of mine.

What is 4 to 6 years of helping our parents after our studies? I don't think it's too much since our parents spent their whole life for us, right? We may not be able to give everything thay they have given us but let's give our best shot to repay them.

Let us give back what they deserve:
LOVE, CARE and EVERYTHING THEY NEED.

It's more fun in the Philippines EVERY SUMMER SEASON

Summer is the season that is most awaited by every Filipino (and I guess, in every part of the world).Swimming, out-of-town trips, and other recreational activities with family and friends are best done during this season.

Since I enjoyed my summer this year, let me share why summer is more fun in the Philippines for me.

#1 OUTING WITH FAMILY
It is every Holy Week when me and my mom and brother are given the chance to go out for some recreational activities since it is the longest time of the year that all of us are free from school and work. We usually stay at home, watch movie or go somewhere to relax but this time, we decided to go for a day outing in a nearby resort, Ciudad Christia, San Mateo, Rizal. This outing made my whole summer season. I don't care if I will be having another outing or not, I am very much satisfied with that bonding with my family.

Indeed, It's more fun in the Philippines WITH YOUR FAMILY.

#2 FIRST TIME IN BAGUIO
Yes, say I'm a loser but this year is great because I've done another first in my life: To go to Baguio. Yes, it's my first time and I am proud of it. HAHA! I know that each of us has a dream of travelling the whole world if given the chance but I would like to travel Philippines first. Luckily, this will be the start of my dream. I had a lot of fun in Baguio with friends. We grabbed every chance we had during our stay. I love the cold breeze and the beautiful scenery of every place we visited. An escape to the heat of city made me love Baguio. Another dream also came true, I had a chance to pick strawberries with my own hands! :)

Definitely, It's more fun in the Philippines IF YOU VISIT BAGUIO CITY.

#3 ANG TIPULO FESTIVAL
Antipoleños are always looking forward to this festival. The colorful SUMAKAH (Suman, Kasoy, Hamaka) Festival always gives life to the city. With the colorful costumes and lively performances of each participant from different parts of the city, one will surely love to witness it. I am very grateful that I have given the chance to be part of this significant event of the city. Being an employee in the City Government of Antipolo, we are also part of the program which usually starts with a parade.

Of course, CELEBRATING ANG TIPULO FESTIVAL is more fun in the Philippines.

It is almost rainy season and I will miss the heat of summer.  Hopefully, my post-summer activities will be pushed through so that I can share it in this blog.

I won't say goodbye to summer. Instead, I'll say: Seeyou next year, summer! Please be a lot more fun, okay?

Summer is fun but every season will always be more fun and worthwhile if you spend it with love and happiness :)
