During my recovery stage...

Being left by someone you really love is something that is really painful. Every second seems to be like hours and each day feels like years. Yes, again and again, I will say that the type of parting that we've had isn't something that is totally sad. Of course, I am happy that he already have started his career. It's just that I am not used to not being with him.

But being far from each other doesn't mean being alone. There are people who helped and are still helping me in this phase of my life. Let me thank you for making me smile and being there during the times that I needed you the most.

LETH, AI, and GHE. I am just so lucky that again, we've had the chance to be with each other though we're on our different paths and careers. I know it's hard to find time but I thank you for never hesitating to come whenever each of us really needs someone to talk to. Let me remind you that I, too, will always be there whenever you need me. Many thanks also to my PORTU FAMILY!

LEX, SHA, ANA and IKEY. Though this day wasn't for me since it was Ana's birthday and we went to hospital to see how Ikey (who brought herself alone in the hospital and who is okay now) was, I still thank you for helping me have something to be busy with during this day. Ana, thanks for your family and delicious carbonara. Thank you pink girls!

ATE APRIL and ATE JESS. Both of you stand as my true sisters and I appreciate it whenever you are making me feel that you are just a chat away. Many thanks for those kind words that truly helped me. I am blessed to have known you two. Many thanks also to my Broadcore friends!

PARTY PIPS. Leth+Henryboi, Jak, Kuya Marck, Carl, and Mer, many thanks for just being there(though not pgysically) during my "emo" days. Your words of wisdom and cheer made me feel that I really have to be strong. Many thanks also for making me feel that I can make it. :)

IKEY and MY. For the movie date, thank you. I appreciate you effort in helping me get through those boring days at home. I love how you want me to cry with you during the film and for just listening to my stories. Thank you for always being each time my heart's in trouble. To my Porwan family, thanks also!
special thanks also to Orlando for the pictures!

MHE and MER. I salute you for making it with your long distance relationship (part 1). Thank you for those words of encouragement which are all based on your experiences. Mer, your words are always great. Thanks for that message that you've sent me. I'm always reading it whenever I feel like giving up. Mhe, for checking how am I almost everyday, thank you. Hope to see you soon!

KATH and DANIEL. You two are gifts of heaven to me. Thanks for always checking how I am. For you jokes and cheers, thank you! Though you are both younger than me, I know I can lean on you whenever I need someone to talk to. Chat? haha!

TITA DAISY and TITO DAN + DANIEL and KUYA DARWIN. I don't know if they will have the chance to read this one but I want them to know how thankful I am that they are also there to cheer me up. They are always making me feel that I have them as my family and that they are and will still be there even though Den is far from me. Thanks to them for being kind and making me feel like I am really part of their family.

AND OF COURSE, TO MY FAMILY. At the end of the day, it is always them who comfort me during my "down days." I am always thankful that I have a family that I can lead on. To my brother, who made me feel that he cares though not that outspoken, thank you. To my mom who gave and are still giving me words that are making me feel that everything will be okay and to my papa who have just called a while ago to cheer me up and said that though he is far, I can always lean on him, THANK YOU BIG TIME!

It is hard. Maybe not all people will understand but it really is a hard thing. But with all the people behind me, I know I can do it, I can make it. God is with me and I know that He is guiding both of us. Above all, I THANK GOD for making me understand things slowly. Thank you for giving me these people who truly love me and who helped me during my recovery stage.

From the bottom part of my heart, THANK YOU!

It's been a year: A Proud PUPian

It's been a year since the big day, our graduation day. Now, officially, I am no longer a fresh graduate. haha!

Nakakamiss talagang maging estudyante.

Come to think of it, I am just a student before, thinking just how to finish my studies.

PUP, thank you for being my second home. It wasn't easy being inside your home but those hardships helped me became stronger. SALAMAT SINTANG PAARALAN. I will always be a proud PUPian. :)
Happy Graduation Anniversary, PUP Batch 2010!

And of course, I owe everything to classmates, my family, and God. You helped me be where I am today.

Do you know the Four Spiritual Laws?

Just as there are physical laws that govern the physical universe, so are there spiritual laws which govern our relationship with God.

LAW ONE. GOD LOVES YOU AND HAS A WONDERFUL PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE.

God's Love - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

God's Plan - "I came that they might have life, and might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).

Why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life? Because...

LAW TWO. MAN IS SINFUL AND SEPARATED FROM GOD. THEREFORE, HE CANNOT KNOW AND EXPERIENCE GOD'S LOVE AND PLAN FOR HIS LIFE.

Man is Sinful
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans3:23).

Man was created to have fellowship with God; but because of his stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own independent way and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin.

Man is Separated
"For the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23).

The third law explains the only way to bridge this gap...

LAW THREE. JESUS CHRIST IS GOD'S ONLY PROVISION FOR MAN'S SIN. THROUGH HIM, YOU CAN KNOW AND EXPERIENCE GOD'S LOVE AND PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE.

He died in our place
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

He rose from the dead
"Christ died for our sins. He was buried. He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that, He appeared to more than five hundred" (1 Corinthians 15:3-6).

He is the only way to God
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me" (John 14:6).

LAW FOUR. WE MUST INDIVIDUALLY RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOR AND LORD; THEN WE CAN KNOW AND EXPERIENCE GOD'S LOVE AND PLAN FOR OUR LIVES.

We must receive Christ
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12).

We receive Christ through faith
"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, is is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).

We receive Christ by personal invitation
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him (Revelation 3:20).

Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us the kind of people He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. We receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.

The bible promises eternal life to all who receive Christ
"And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God in order that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:11-13).

"Thank God often that Christ is in your life and that He will never leave you" (Hebrew 13:5). You can know on the basis of His promise that Christ lives in you and that you have eternal life from the very moment you invite Him in. He will not deceive you.

Do not depend on feelings
The promise of God's word, the Bible--not our feelings--is our authority. The Christian lives by faith (trust) in the trustworthiness of God Himself and His Word.

Suggestions for Christian Growth
Spiritual growth results from trusting Jesus Christ. "The righteous man shall live by faith" (Galatians 3:11). A life of faith will enable you to trust God increasingly with every detail of your life and to practice the following:

G Go to God in prayer daily (John 15:7)
R Read God's word daily (Acts 17:11) --begin with the Gospel of John
O Obey God moment by moment
W Witness for Christ by your life and words (Matthew 4:19, John 15:8)
T Trust God for every detail of your life (1 Peter 5:7)
H Holy Spirit--allow Him to control and empower you daily life and witness (Galatians 5:16-17, Acts 1:8)

It is not yet the end: Partypips at Ecopark

April 30, 2011 when me and my officemates together with Den, Henry and Dessa went to La Mesa Ecopark to have our bonding before we take different paths.

Sa wakas, natuloy din ang isa sa mga drawing na lakad namin! HAHA! :)

Jak, Lileth and Henry were the first ones to be there so while waiting for others, we just took pictures of ours.

It was also Jak's first time in the place. See how happy she was?

We first took our early lunch before we went around and pose with the beautiful spots in the place. Here are some of the highlights:

FIRST STOP: La Mesa Dam where no pictures were allowed so we only have these:

SECOND STOP: The Forest wherein, Kuya Marck who is from Quezon City is our tour guide.

Tapos pahinga naman bilang pagod na kami kakalakad.

We took our rest while Nomer, Kuya Marck, Carl and Dessa enjoyed the water in the swimming pool.

Then Den came and we went around again.

Den also convinced me to ride a horse which is one of my dreams. HAHA! I was a bit nervous but thanks to his encouragement, one of my dreams came true. I was also so touched when he walked and run just to have pictures of me while riding the horse. THANK YOU! :)

We are planning to do boating but it was suspended. We also want to try Ecopark's zipline but it was relocated and we don't want its new location so we decided not to try it because we will just be wasting money. Since we were also all tired, we just decided to went home.

It was full of fun! I know that it will took a long time before thing like this will happen again but I'm sure that it will happen again. I will miss them but I know, just like what the title of this post is, it is not yet the end. In fact, it is just the beginning of our stronger friendship.

LOVEYAH, PARTYPIPS!
'til next time!

I-drawing niyo na! HAHA! :)
