I found this video in Youtube and I was curious so I watched it. Kindly take time to watch it too and give your thoughts by commenting.
Video Description:
An interesting and fun animation of why the Philippines is still poor. After several revolutions and civil wars, Filipinos are poorer than ever.
I hope someday the masa will understand what is happening and stop being gullible to celebrities in politics and media.
________________________________________________________________________My thought on this:
There are good points but some were drawn with too much emotion. It lacks facts and sources regarding the statements. I don't like the whole video but I like the way it was delivered.
But regarding the fact about having a better living, I believe that we must not only blame the government. We must also remember that in order for our lives to be better, we must also do something. There are lots of opportunities that we can use. I understand that living in the Philippines where there is unruly government and where some people are taking things for granted is difficult but each of us has equal chances of making our lives better so we better make use of it. As an old saying goes, "“We must become the change we wish to see in the world.”

@Ricky: appear on that! salamat sa malaman mong comment sa post na ito. if we can do something regarding those "nakakasawang mga bagay," let's move now. :)
ReplyDeleteng video :D, matagal na tlgang kelangan ng consti reform especially ung sinabi sa video about investor! tama sya, mahirap makapaginvest dito satin, kelangan ng kasamang pinoy, which is dapat 70% ang sa pinoy at 30% ang sa foreign (kung ndi ako nagkakamali ah!)so naalala ko tuloy ung isang prof ko nun, dapat isa yan sa baguhin sa consti which is un din ang alam kong isa sa gusto ng past administration. actually ndi nga lang dapat consti eh, madami tayong batas na panahon pa ata ng kastila at ndi na akma pa sa panahon ngaun..
ReplyDeleteon the other side, pinopoint out nya tlga ung miseducation ng pinoy which is super true, lalabas ka ng kalye magtatanung ka sa ordinaryong mamamayan kng anu ung ganito ganyan, ndi nya alam, simpleng karapatan nya na nasa consti wala din. so dapat sa schools may civic education tlga, sabi nila meron daw like ung hekasi (tama ba?)pero ndi sya ganun kavisible,
i think the best way we can do is to be a good citizen and alamin ndi lang ang karapatan kundi pati ang obligasyon. and kng may time tlga, cguro pede tayong magkarun ng civic education lalo na kng may kakilala ka sa sk or may youth group or youth movement, something like that,,actually pede nga nga na makipagusap ka sa brgy eh kng gusto nila makipagcooperate hehe, pero pede din nman na satin manggaling tulad ng sabi ko kanina if my youth group or somtehing hehe
hala, putol pala ung una, hehe, ung una dyan sabi ko,madaming points na tama yung video :D, sensya na
ReplyDelete@mhe: many thanks sa super habang comment. super thanks for the effort para makapagshare talaga ng thought mo regarding the video. tama ka. kulang na kulang kasi tayo sa kaalaman tungkol sa mga ganung bagay. sana lahat may pakialam sa paghihirap ng bansa noh? on the other hand, since andito na tayo sa ganitong sitwasyon, the best thing we can do talaga is to work hard for our lives to be better. mahirap pero yun ang consequence ng hindi pakikialam at kakulangan sa tamang impormasyon. sad but that's the reality.
